Books to read:

Life-Size - Jenefer Shute
I like this book. It is from the view of a 25 year old Anorexia sufferer, as she is kept in hospital. This book really does display the emotions and actions of any ED sufferer as they go through there life.
The young girl really displays what we go through each day and how we think. I think it is more for the type of person who wants to understand more about the issue or who wants some support and comfort from reading about someone elses journey. I rate this highly and think you should read it.

Conquering Anorexia: The route to recovery - Claire Lindsay
An invaluable resource for someone who may themselves be a sufferer of anorexia nervosa.

Thin - Grace Bowman
A grippingly honest account of life with anorexia nervosa.

Reviving Ophelia - Mary Pipher
Focuses on issues involving teens today including Eating Disorders.

The Secret Language of Eating Disorders - Peggy Claude-Pierre

Inside the "Thin" Cage - Constance Rhodes
A must-read for anyone with ED-NOS or any supposed "sub-clinical" eating disorder or chronic dieting

Wasted: A Memoir of Anorexia and Bulimia - Marya Hornbacher
A look at the dark side of eating disorders taken to the extremes.
Warning: depending how you read the book, it will either deter you from continuing eating disordered behaviors, or it may just be a very bad trigger!

Inner Hunger - Marianne Apostolides

Stick Figure: A Diary of my Former Self - Lori Gotlieb

Good Enough: When Losing Is Winning, and Thin Enough Can Never Be Achieved - Cynthia N. Bitter.
